Blog Tember Challenge: Day Six

September 20th: If you could give one piece of advice to a large  group of people, what would it be?

I think I would encourage people to follow their dreams. Easier said than done? Maybe. Doesn’t mean you have to give up on them. Doesn’t mean you don’t have to try everything you have got to pursue them.

Do you know that feeling when you have dreamt about something for so long it basically defines you? Do you know that feeling when you dream seems so hard to achieve you have almost given up on it? Can you imagine what it would feel like when it comes true?

I haven’t felt it yet. But I can say with utmost confidence that it’s the best feeling in the world. Better than an orgasm. Better than the birth of your first child. Better than love. Just plain exquisite joy and undefinable rush of happiness.

So follow your dreams. No matter how hard they seem to achieve. No matter how unfavourable the circumstances are. No matter what you have to do. No matter how lost you feel. No matter how many people think you’ll never make it.

Believe in yourself. You know that dream that is so damny crazy you think it will never come true? That dream people might laugh at if you told them? That dream even you are unsure about? Guess what?
Pick an inspiration. Pick a person that inspires you with his words. Someone whose life inspires you. Watch them. Ask them how they got where they are. Find small things in life to keep you motivated. Stay motivated. We all have good days and bad days. But no one should hold more influence over us to cause us to detract from our paths.

Don’t give a fuck about what other people think.

They’ll laugh at you of you fail. They will talk behind your back after congratulating you on your success. People talk, it’s what they do. Don’t let someone else’s opinion of you affect you.

Don’t let other people take charge of your life. Even if they’re your family. Even if its someone you love the most. It’s your life. Don’t live it for anyone but yourself.

You can’t stop pursuing your dream because you think your family might abandon you. You can’t stop running after them because you’re too concerned what people will think of you. You can’t just do that. You’ll never be happy.

So be happy. Do what you want to because you only get one life. That way, even if you fail, you won’t have any regrets. And if you suceed, well 🙂

You don’t have to follow your dreams. You need to follow your dream. No matter what.

Set a target. Cross it. Set a new target. Achieve that and make a new goal for yourself. Keep pushing yourself. Strive. Work. Even if you feel like you have already worked hard enough. Even when you can’t see any light at the end of the tunnel.

Don’t give up. Don’t listen to a word they say. Believe in yourself. Believe in your dreams.

And remember..

What would your advice be? Share with me.
